A bit about Justin
Justin, a local Armidale graduate with a Bachelor of Agribusiness, has spent over a decade working in rural banking with QIDC and Suncorp before founding Finagri Pty Ltd in 2010. With a wealth of experience in finance broking and providing financial control services, Justin helps rural clients manage cash flows, bank negotiations, and bookkeeping. His hands-on approach focuses on building long-term relationships and being readily available to discuss ideas and future goals. Justin is passionate about finding the best financial solutions for his clients’ businesses.

Our Story
Finagri was born from a simple observation: traditional financial institutions often fail to understand the unique rhythms and requirements of agricultural businesses. Founded by Justin Barnes in 2010, Finagri brings together extensive agricultural banking experience with an intimate understanding of local farming conditions and challenges.
Justin’s journey from university graduate to rural finance specialist provided him with crucial insights into the gaps in agricultural finance services. After more than a decade working within traditional banking institutions (QIDC and Suncorp), he recognized that farmers needed a financial partner who could speak their language, understand their seasonal challenges, and structure solutions around their unique cash flow patterns.
